Research
Most of my research projects are inspired by my personal and professional experiences with media. My research is largely inspired by using communication for social change. I believe in producing knowledge to challenge dominant ideologies and to center the reality of historically marginalized groups.
Consulting
I have consulted for non-profits and various media organizations to help them improve content and engage their audiences. I am available for consultation on projects that focus on development in Global South contexts (Ghana, Nigeria & South Africa), gender and sexuality in African communities, communication for social change among others.
Teaching
I believe in generating excitement in the classroom. My teaching aims to equip students with critical thinking skills to improve their personal and professional lives. I am available for public talks and guest lectures in media studies, African studies and feminist studies.
