I am currently working on a collaborative project which examines the way that queer rights organizations are using digital media tools to subvert and navigate persecution and repression form the state.

I am currently working on a monograph which focuses on decolonizing the field of media studies and the role of Global South knowledges in this decolonial endeavor.

I recently published an article on media representations of gendered violence in Ghana in a paper titled Interrogating Dominant Ideology in Media Representations of Witchcraft-Related Gendered Violence: The Case of Mariama Akua Denteh.
